Walter Foster Publishing is celebrating its 100th anniversary, and we wanted to look back on some fun and important moments in art history since its founding in 1922. Did you know that surrealism became a popular style of art in the 1920s? In 1924, two Surrealist Manifestos were published in Paris, France. They came from two rival surrealists, neither of whom were artists--writers André Breton and Yvan Goll.
