Usually I try and keep this account for music related things (because that's why you followed) but I rarely get to make music these days. On top of the disintegration of the live music industry, I'm in the constant company of someone who hates it when I sing.
Hence the creative pivot. Fear not! IT'S TEMPORARY (I tell myself daily). For now, be a lamb and start your christmas shopping early. BIG THINGS ARE HAPPENING: I am going to be a published author!!. on June 7, 2022 I, Ishita Singh, am so proud to announce that my new Polymer Clay Jewelry for Beginners book will be released! It has been a dream working with quartocreates #walterfoster this year and this book has been a labor of love and an absolute roller coaster!

This book will cover all the basics from troubleshooting to bead making, mixing colors to creating texture. A huge part of this book was to make this an affordable option for folkx to learn something new! A lot of the tricks I cover are my personal tricks to keep costs low and still create stunning designs (I am so excited to see your creativity shine!)

As an Indian- American this so so exciting for me. Rarely do I see south asian representation in the handmade/diy/writing space and the fact Waltee Foster/Quarto took a chance to work with me means absolutely everything. I have always loved teaching/mentoring and am so glad I finally get to share that with y'all at an even larger scale!

This is how my books began. A bunch (Mob? Pod? Tattle?) of tails on the back page of the Port Campbell community newsletter, just waiting for interesting bodies to be drawn.
Then I took them to an art class. The kids loved the activity so much I thought I must be on to something…
